Of Respect

Every person has his own destiny.

Life is not easy at all. This is not a world full of peace and happiness.

If you get, you are lucky, there’s nothing to be proud of.

There are people, who suffer hunger; who live in war; who are too poor to be educated; who get fragmentized family; who are betrayed by their lovers.

That is not their fault.

You have to respect others’ pain, sadness, poverty and adversity.

Mutability

                                                          The flower that smiles to-day
                                                          To-morrow dies;
All that we wish to stay
                                                          Tempts and then flies.
                                                          What is this world's delight?
                                                          Lightning that mocks the night,
                                                          Brief even as bright.

                                                          Virtue, how frail it is!
                                                          Friendship how rare!
Love, how it sells poor bliss
                                                          For proud despair!
But we, though soon they fall,
                                                          Survive their joy, and all
                                                          Which ours we call.

Whilst skies are blue and bright,
                                                          Whilst flowers are gay,
Whilst eyes that change ere night
                                                          Make glad the day;
Whilst yet the calm hours creep,
                                                          Dream thou--and from thy sleep

                                                          Then wake to weep.

Postmodern Feminism

Like the postmodernist position…positionality rejects the perfectibility, externality of truth. Instead the positional knower conceives of truth as situated and partial. Truth is situated in that it emerges from particular involvements and relationships. These relationships, not some essential or innate characteristic of the individual, define the individual’s perspective and provide the location for meaning, identity, and political commitment”.

Katherine Bartlett, 'Feminist Legal Methods’ (1990) 103 Harvard Law Review 829

In seeking an appropriate feminist epistemology Katherine Bartlett argues for what she calls ‘positionality’ which recognizes the contingency of values and knowledge. Even the political commitment of feminists is provisional and requires critical evaluation and revision.

Your Duty is to Your Heart

There is no duty to satisfy or enlighten others. The only duty is to oneself, to always be true and kind no matter what others said or did. Do not explain. There is no need to explain. No one really cares what is right and what is wrong. Most of them just hold the attitude of watching a show, the show you do not need to be part of it. Too many people in this world are good at playacting, turning back into white. It does not matter. Let them play.

Meditation

The more attention one puts on other persons, the less one uses to meditate.

The attention I am talking about here means the unnecessary discussion, judgment and unfair animadversion of the outside world.

In a strict sense, the world is not a visible thing and we can never see the whole picture. All we see may only be a very small part.

People have different experiences and abilities and therefore have different ways of thinking. What one should know is that every existence has its reason. The more mature one is, the more understanding one would give to the external existence. It makes no sense to give our own interpretations to the things we never comprehend fully, then treat as if it is the eternal truth and law. On the contrary, it would make more sense to scrutinize one's own internal existence. Stay guarded from beast of arrogance and never let the river of curiosity run dry, for there is always much to learn, to see and to discover.

Let the Past be the Past

Everything is resolvable as long as one sees the truth, even though the truth is ugly.

The most dangerous thing is hiding or excusing what has happened to let the truth sink in the blue water.

Self-delusion is a kind of suicide, mentally, which does not help at all and is very harmful.

Step back, see the truth without using one’s eyes, then take it or leave it.

No matter what to choose, one should let the past be the past. As long as one can try and wish to try, there is hope and there is future.

Lie

A Lie is "a false statement deliberately presented as being true".
Sometimes, people are accustomed to lying to themselves.
When that becomes usual, they “honestly believe” that they were telling the truth, nothing but the "truth".

This is, however, the most intolerable lie.
