July 14 MeditationThe more attention one puts on other persons, the less one uses to meditate. The attention I am talking about here means the unnecessary discussion, judgment and unfair animadversion of the outside world. In a strict sense, the world is not a visible thing and we can never see the whole picture. All we see may only be a very small part. People have different experiences and abilities and therefore have different ways of thinking. What one should know is that every existence has its reason. The more mature one is, the more understanding one would give to the external existence. It makes no sense to give our own interpretations to the things we never comprehend fully, then treat as if it is the eternal truth and law. On the contrary, it would make more sense to scrutinize one's own internal existence. Stay guarded from beast of arrogance and never let the river of curiosity run dry, for there is always much to learn, to see and to discover. Comments (1)
